Sonya has served as the Accountant, Business Office and HR Manager for Fetching Designs. She won’t “Nickel and Dime You” but will try to offer her best to provide customer service and sum up a solution to our client's needs.

Born and raised in Las Cruces, alumna of Mayfield High and NMSU, Sonya obtained a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and a minor in Business Administration. She married her LCHS Bulldawg sweetheart, who been drumming to the beat of her heart for over 30 years; together they have 3 children, and 3 grand-pugs.

When she is not “counting”, she brings out the creative side and will design t-shirts, business forms, flyers and brochure ideas, but she leaves the final design elements to the creative team at Fetching Designs. Sonya also enjoys photography, scrapbooking, attending Aggie sporting events and traveling with her family!

Jenifer
Graphic Designer

Forced into graphic design by a desperate friend with a college publication emergency (CPE), Jen was captivated by the world of typesetting, halftone images, and border tape early in life. Somehow, she managed to successfully transition to the digital age, and graphic design has been sometimes-integral, sometimes-incidental to her eclectic professional journey for the past 40 years.

Jen has a BS in Marketing from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She has worked in such varied fields as retail management, hospitality management, financial information marketing, substitute teaching, food service and freelance graphic design/marketing.

For the past 26 years, she has been part of the American Classifieds/Dog’Cruces/Fetching Designs team, serving as Production Manager for the paper, Senior Editor and Columnist for the magazine, and Graphic Designer for Fetching Designs.

There is a fine line between “multi-faceted” and “unfocused”—but having walked on both sides of this line, Jen has acquired a panoramic perspective that is equally creative and practical.
